The satin wasn't terrible to sew. It was slippery, so I decided that meant the fabric was telling me to take it slow, and I did. The finished panels were a bit pucker-y, but pressing took care of that. I took a photo documenting the difference and what do you know? I sewed two right front panels.

Stupid double faced satin. And I laid everything out and double checked before I sewed to make certain I wouldn't do exactly what I did. Time to bring out my old friend the seam ripper.
